Tim gave the opening keynote to 4,000 talent professionals at LinkedIn's Talent Connect conference in Anaheim, CA.
LinkedIn’s Talent Connect conference, a multi-day gathering of the world’s top leaders, innovators, and influencers in the talent space, brought more than 4,000 international talent professionals to Anaheim from October 9-11. Attendees of the annual event shared best practices around the key challenges and trends shaping the future of work and the role of humans in it, with the program focusing on the four trends that LinkedIn’s Global Recruiting Trends 2018 report surfaced: diversity, candidate assessment tools, data, and artificial intelligence. Keynote speakers included Carla Harris (Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Morgan Stanley), LinkedIn CEOI Jeff Weiner, psychotherapist and relationship expert Esther Perel, former Teen Vogue editor Elaine Welteroth, and others.
In his live-streamed opening keynote, Tim proposed three concrete principles to foster our humanity and build a beautiful business in an age of machines and exponential change. You can watch the full video recording of his talk here.
Tim also ran a workshop with a select group of talent executives during the conference and sat down with LinkedIn’s team for an exclusive interview after the show.
