Could it be that a human-centered approach to business is not the solution but in fact the very root cause of the problems we’re facing? And, specifically, will our desire to humanize machines make them inhumane? And us, perhaps, as well?
I was reminded of these questions this weekend when I saw “The Machine Monologs – Part I: The Storm,” a riveting exhibition by video artist Eli Cortiñas at Fotografiska in Berlin that explored how “the human gaze” is staring back at us.” Are these beings capable of more humanity than humans?,” she asks.
It was a pleasure to talk about and many other aspects of the life-centered economy with Katharina Kugler on her humanplus podcast.
